Ellie's Three Teeth.
Today, as I was tickling my sweet little girl, I caught a bit of sparkle and white. Not on the bottom like I've been checking for the last few months, but on the TOP! Not one, not two, but three! This little girl has been teething and I did even know it. She has not been drooling or fussy, her naps have been perfect. The only funny thing she has been doing is sucking her cheeks in making a fish face for about a week. Her smile will never be the same!

Cabana Baby
Ellie had the BEST time swimming for the very first time.
She quickly fell asleep in the pool and napped for a good 30 minutes.

Such a Little Lady.
My first Mother's Day as a Mom. She has been chanting "DaDa" for weeks. I'll ask, "Can you say Mama?" The answer is always "Dada dada dada" Tonight at dinner she said it!! "Mama mama."

Poor Baby Bell.
My little girl is on the mend today, but what a rough time we had. She woke up with a fever of 101. Then had another problem that we will not discuss here. I called the Dr. office, they got us in within a few hours. There her fever was 103.6, I've never seen a Dr come into the room so fast. Later that night we had to go to Texas Children Hospital downtown. We waited with so many other sick kids. When they took her temperature it was up to 105.2, I almost cried. When they gave her medicine for the fever it took about an hour to kick in. Little baby bell just slept in our arms most of the night, so hot it felt like she was on fire. She was prodded and poked and had an ultrasound, we were there forever. We got home at 6am and all of us slept like rocks. Today she is feeling better. Her naps are longer than normal, but she is interacting with us and the dogs.Tuesday, March 24, 2009

We went to the Rodeo!
Ellie had the best time at the Rodeo. She looked all around, when she got tired, she fell asleep in her stroller. She played with her best buddy Jaxson. She also got a lot of practice with clapping!
We had to pull Jaxson away from the tractor. He made the best little farmer!
And what an awesome job sharing!! Here Ellie, have some of my applesauce!
